Like most children, growing up I avoided Brussels sprouts like they were the plague. Why? Because everyone made it seem like they were a terrible tasting food. That is until recently when someone suggested trying roasted brussel sprouts. Since I am always up for experimenting with new recipes I ran to the store and picked up a little bag of brussel sprouts, and searched the spice cabinet. The outcome was these delicious roasted brussel sprouts. Everyone who has tried them loves them including my fiance who hates veggies. This recipe is super simple and delicious.
Brussel Sprouts (Usually 15-20 will do)
2 tbs Olive Oil
2 tsp Black Pepper
1 tsp Fine Sea Salt
2 tsp Garlic or Garlic Powerder (Both work well)
Preheat oven to 350
Wash the sprouts and place on cutting board.
Next either cut the sprouts in fourths like I did in the photo above, or into halves if you want bigger peices.
When all the sprouts have been cut place them in a large bowl and toss with olive oil, pepper, salt, and garlic
Once all the ingredients have been mixed place the sprouts on a baking sheet and bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes
Take them out and Enjoy!
